The Vietnamese textile and garment industry aims to export US $ 36 billion this year and US $ 50 billion by 2020. There will be great potential for textile and garment exports between the two countries. Indian businesses want to work with Vietnamese businesses to develop additional strengths and business networks for the benefit of the textile and apparel industry.

Mr. Truong Van Cam - Vice President / General Director of VITAS

Truong Van Cam - Vice President / General Secretary of VITAS said that cooperation with India is one of the orientation of the textile and garment industry in Vietnam. The two sides still have plenty of room for cooperation. Vietnam's textile and garment enterprises are still weak in technology, weaving, dyeing, finishing, auxiliary materials production and design. Indian firms can learn about the weaknesses of Vietnam's textile and garment industry in order to invest in synergies to promote each other's strengths and to compensate for the shortages in the supply chain. Best.

Said Pham Xuan Hong, President of AGTEK

Mr. Pham Xuan Hong, President of AGTEK shared, the exchanges and cooperation between Vietnamese and Indian companies are growing, especially in the textile and garment industry. The side has seen each other's strengths and weaknesses. Vietnamese enterprises are struggling, but the growth of raw materials is low. When the FTAs arrive, Vietnamese enterprises do not blame the difficulties. Cooperation with Indian businesses will help to support the growth of Vietnamese garment enterprises.
