Research results by Margot Berings, PhD student at Ghent University show that Purotex padding has the property of reducing allergic symptoms. Purotex reduces the allergens of house dust mites on beds, helping people with allergies sleep well.

Berings tested 20 allergic patients with house dust mites, all in the 18-65 age range. They were given bed linen impregnated with Purotex probiotic and after eight weeks their allergic symptoms were re-examined. Ms. Berings found significant overall improvement in symptoms of allergic fever and their quality of life improved.

Purotex uses active microbial enzyme technology to clean allergens of house dust mites along with other allergens. Placed on a cushioned textile or pillow, this reduces home bugs by 93.7% in just two weeks. In other words, active microbial enzymes create a clean environment for sleep.
