DyStar introduces Cardia Denim to its efficient use

22-11-2017

Dystar Group, a chemical and dye manufacturer and a leading solution provider, introduced Cardia Denim as the sixth concept of the new source-efficiency program. The Cardia concept significantly reduces water consumption, reduces waste and reduces energy consumption. Cardia Denim significantly reduces the amount of water that comes out of the wastewater treatment plant.

Cardia helps valuable brands, retailers and partners save the carbon footprint of textiles and to increase productivity by improving the value of the machine.
Cardia Reactive's first concept was introduced at Interdye Shanghai in April 2016, followed by Cardia Polyester, Cardia VAT, Cardia Recycled Polyester and Cardia Wool. The sixth program is Cardia Denim Indigo Dyestuffs, which is awarded the world's ecological award, 40% Indigo Dystar solution with the advanced C-RDA Sera Con reduction agent. This combination permits salt-free dyeing with a large reduction in discharge load.
Cardia Denim reduces the use of sulfates by up to 95% compared to dyeing with indigo powder in combination with the traditional reducing agent dithionite sodium (hydrosulfite). Total solids will also be reduced by up to 90% compared to Indigo powder and hydrosulfite dyes.
