The exhibition is held on an area of ​​over 12,000m2 with the participation of 450 companies from 14 countries and territories: Vietnam, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
VTG 2017 focuses on the leading brands in the textile industry in the world, specializing in providing solutions of high technology, latest equipment. In addition, the exhibition also displays a number of products such as cotton, yarns, fabrics and accessories for apparel.

According to the Organizing Board, Vietnam's textile and garment export turnover in the first nine months of this year reached US $ 23 billion, up 9.8% over the same period and became one of the highest export turnover of Vietnam. Male. However, as the main mode of production is outsourcing for foreign orders and the development of garment supply chain has not yet developed, the value-added ratio is not high. The Government and ministries are gradually removing difficulties, creating favorable conditions and promulgating mechanisms and policies for the development of support industries, including supporting textile products of the textile industry. thus contributing to the development of the supply chain in the Vietnamese textile and garment industry.
The exhibition will enable Vietnamese garment enterprises to have the opportunity to visit, learn and select equipment with modern technology from advanced industrial countries, to orient investment. To add new technologies, increase the localization rate and have more raw materials and accessories, take initiative in meeting the demands of domestic and foreign customers.
