The invisible fabric of Turkey, which the radar and thermal camera can not detect, will soon be sold to members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The fabric has been developed by the Sun Textiles Research and Development Center and has passed tests by the Turkish Armed Forces, and is currently awaiting approval from the Ministry of Defense for export.
Fabrics by two scientists at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Sabri Unluturk invented, and are being produced at a factory in Izmic province in western Turkey.
The fabric distributes body heat in such a way that the wearer can not be detected by the thermal camera. Tests for uniforms are currently underway.
