University of V Textile and Garment Vietnam: Renovation, creation, skills

In Hanoi from 26-27 April 2018, the 5th Vietnam Textile and Apparel Trade Union (DMVN) took place. The Congress attracted more than 330 delegates from the national DM companies. A number of valuable papers from trade unions at all levels were contributed to the congress.



This year, the Congress has made more and more innovation in the organization and scientific field so that discussions, dialogues and dialogues bring high intellectual values to serve the effectiveness of trade union activities for 2018- two thousand and thirteen.

During two days of the congress, delegates discussed to give comments on the document of the 5th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, focusing on some contents: Renovation of training of trade union officials; Review the development criteria, admit new members; The average income is increased from 7-10% / year; Remove China from low-cost countries when comparing the competitive advantage of Vietnam's textile to China. The Congress also commented on the documents of the 12th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union on the main targets such as: Target strives to 2035 admit 2 million members; Each union at grassroots level, where there is no Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Executive Board of the Trade Union introduced at least one union member of the elite Union for the Party to consider and admit to the Communist Party; To strive to have 65% of members and employees participate in study and fostering to raise their professional qualifications and skills.

The congress also elected 37 members of the Executive Committee of the DMVN Trade Union for the term of 2018 - 2023, elected delegates to the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Commune, including 07 official representatives, 01 alternate delegates. On the morning of April 27, the Executive Board of the V-Class launched and announced the results of the first meeting of the new Executive Committee, elected the new chairman Le Nho Thuong, three vice presidents, Ms. Nguyen Thai Duong, Nguyen Thi Thuy and Pham Thi Thanh Tam.


Also on April 27, for the first time in the history of the Trade Union Congress DMVN, delegates of the business dialogues directly with the General Director of DMVN Group. Key issues raised in the dialogue include: The industrial revolution 4.0, whether it involves labor cuts; The Group should support the creation of a Creative Labor Competition once every two years; Group leaders should reward and honor excellent progress in enterprises; Create a model of harmonious relationship between employer and union to the place of study ...
